What if hanging out at church and learning about God didn't have to be boring? What if it was actually...pretty cool?

 

From babies to high school, CBC offers a specific area for kids to ask questions, learn about God and have a lot of fun.

 

Follow the signs to YIELD, a fun, age-appropriate learning environment designed just for kids from birth through fifth grade. A smiley, name-tagged volunteer at the YIELD desk will walk you through the quick and easy check-in process. And don't worry - we'll let you know if your kids need you during the service.

 

From the nutty dancing to the creative videos to the interactive art projects, everything in YIELD is created just for kids. While experiences vary according to age, the volunteers and staff members in YIELD are committed to showing kids a great time with lots of love.

 

For babies, this means simply giving lots of rocks and cuddles, while for fourth graders it may look like we're making mud pies. While the activities are intentional, there is never a dull moment.

About Our Curriculum:

Think Orange!

 

Orange is a path, a strategy that combines the strength of two - yellow and red - to create the brilliance of another, Orange. By combining the critical influences of the light of the church and the love of the family, the Orange strategy synchronizes efforts and shows a generation who God is more effectively than either could alone.

 

Fro preschool to elementary students, our curriculum draws on the elements of wonder, discovery and passion, infusing them into children. Why? To see God for who He is, to help young people see themselves the way Go sees them, so that they can love others the way God does.

 

Starting with wonder, Orange helps preschoolers embrace a God who is bigger than their imagination, then adds discovery so children can understand how to grow in their relationship with God. Finally, Orange fuels passion by giving students opportunities to be the church and to make a difference influencing their generation.
